  • Who is 3dstuffmaker USA?

    3D Stuffmaker USA is a subsidiary of an Australian company called iPrint Technologies.  We research and develop 3D printing technologies and other methods of additive manufacturing to bring the most affordable, high quality 3D printing systems to the masses.  Currently, we assemble, test, calibrate and quality check our 3D printers in our US facility to help ensure a positive printing experience right out of the box.
  • Who should use 3D printers?

    Everyone can use a 3D printer!  If you have ever had an idea that you wanted to bring to life, then a 3D printer is for you.
  • What can I print with 3D Stuffmaker printers?

    The better question is "What can't it print"... as long as you have a 3D model in .STL format, you can print it!  
  • Do you offer a warranty?

    Yes!  After commissioning and registering the printer within the first 30 days of receipt, a warranty period of 12 months is activated.  
  • What methods of payment do you support?

    Currently,  we accept credit card payments using Paypal as our payment processor.  We can also accept purchase orders from educational institutions or other established companies.
  • Do you ship outside of the US?

  • What is the layer resolution on 3D Stuffmaker printers?

    We can achieve impressive resolutions and quality below the 100 micron level in our consumer and professional product lines.  
  • What's PLA?

    PLA, which is an acronym for polylactic acid,  is a thermoplastic derived from renewable resources such as corn starch, tapioca, and sugar cane.  Our printers are designed to produced prints and objects out of this material and benefits from its extremely versatile physical properties.  
  • What is a .STL file?

    A .stl file is a file format that is is widely used for rapid prototyping and computer-aided manufacturing.  STL format files describe only the surface geometry of a three dimensional object without any representation of color, texture or other common CAD model attributes.  Our printers are designed to interpret this file and produce an object in real physical form.

  • What kind of support do you offer for your printers?

    We provide online support via our ticketing system to assist in troubleshooting and software related issues. We also offer Skype video support to troubleshoot any issues in real-time.  In the event that an issue cannot be corrected, we can provide replacement part at our discretion and/or arrange for item replacement.
  • What's your return policy?

    An item can be returned within 14 days of purchase with an RMA number.  The item must be returned in its original packaging with original packaging materials intact.  Items will not be accepted for return without a properly issued RMA number.  This RMA number may be requested at This email address is being protected from spambots.   • What is desktop 3d printing?

    3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing,  is a process of making a three dimensional solid objects of from a digital model and is achieved where successive layers of material are laid down in different shapes.   We have scaled this technology down to a fit in a system that will fit right on your desktop.
  • How much can 1 Kg of filament print?

    This depends on the type of object being printed.  Hollow, smaller objects require less filament to print that a solid object.
  • What software and operating system do 3D Stuffmaker USA printers use?

    The printers are based on standard open source technologies which means that the software is non-proprietary and allows for flexibility in the choice of software that is used.  We provide the software driver.  The printing software we have tested with great results has been Pronterface and Repetier.
  • Can I use ABS filament on 3D Stuffmaker printers?

    It is not recommended that ABS filament be used in our printers.  ABS filament requires a much higher temperature than PLA to extrude and a heated printer baseplate in most cases.
